Classic v1 Interface

This part of Page Functionality documents the pages of the classic v1 interface, the one served at the root of a Fluency site (https://<name>.app.ingext.io): what each page shows, and what each button, menu, and dialog does. It is organized the same way the interface itself is laid out, so you can look up a page by where it appears in the navigation. The Navigation Bar​

Every page shares the same navigation bar across the top of the screen. From left to right it contains:

  • Fluency logo: returns to the Home dashboard.
  • SIEM: behavioral detection and triage: summaries, timelines, rules, and entity tables.
  • Data Lake: searching stored events, investigations, and managing data lake indexes and schemas.
  • Platform: the data pipeline: applications (with their integrations), configuration, processors, usage, assets, and platform administration.
  • Reports: report dashboards, report processors, and scheduled reports.

On the right side of the bar are the Home icon, the Settings (gear) icon that opens the Settings area, a light/dark theme toggle, and the account avatar, whose menu holds Profile, which opens the user's Profile, and Logout.

An address that matches no page shows a 404 page (Page not found and Sorry, we couldn’t find the page you’re looking for.) with Go back home and Contact support →.

In this section​

  • Home: the landing dashboard: ticket summary, data lakes, resources, and application status.
  • SIEM: Overview Summary, Behavior Summary, Behavior Timeline, Resources, Behavior Rules, and EntityInfo Tables.
  • Data Lake: Search, Investigations, Management, Schemas, KQL Query Builder, and KQL Search History.
  • Platform: Applications, Configuration, Processors, Usage, plus the Assets and Administration sub-menus; Integrations opens from Applications.
  • Reports: Dashboard, Processors, and Scheduler.
  • Settings: the account-administration hub: Users, Support, AWS Roles, Permissions, Audit, Reports, and Lake Tasks. The user's Profile opens from the account avatar.
