Syslog over TLS: Certificate Change

Support
Fluency Support

The certificate Fluency uses to receive syslog over TLS changes on August 8, 2024. Devices and syslog servers that send syslog over TLS directly to Fluency may need to be updated to keep sending. Sites that send through a Fluency Collector are not affected.

If you send syslog over TLS directly to Fluency, contact Fluency Support for the details and the updated certificate.

Introducing Ingext

Support
Fluency Support

The data pipeline at the core of the Fluency Platform is now available as a product of its own: Ingext. Ingext collects data from cloud services and HEC, transforms it in motion with FPL, and delivers it wherever it needs to go (your SIEM, S3 or an API) with every step visible as it happens.

Moving to Platform Integrations

Support
Fluency Support

Fluency is moving existing data sources from the legacy Cloud Integrations to Platform integrations, which support multi-tenant mode and the new parsers. The legacy plugins and parsers are being deprecated. Most sources move without any change on your side, but a few things look different afterwards.

Collect Your AWS Data with Fluency

Support
Fluency Support

The Fluency Platform now reads directly from the AWS services that carry your logs (Kinesis, Firehose, S3, CloudWatch and Security Lake) and authenticates with a role you grant it, set up from a CloudFormation template.

Multi-Tenant Support for MSSPs

Support
Fluency Support

Fluency now supports multiple tenants on a single site. An MSSP can host up to 100 customers on one site, each with its own collectors, syslog ports, data platform and detection, and manage them all from one place.

The release reaches all instances on April 7, 2024. Multi-tenant mode is enabled site by site.
